XXIV Brazilian Symposium on Database
XXIII Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering

As annual events sponsored by the Computer Brazilian Society (SBC), the Brazilian Symposium on Data Base (SBBD) and Software Engineering (SBES) gather researchers, students and practitioners from Brazil and abroad, who present and discuss topics related to the state of the art in their respective areas.

Graded "A" by CAPES evaluation, previous editions of both symposiums have been recognized by the high quality of accepted papers, co-located workshops, invited talks and tutorials, which were delivered by internationally acknowledged researchers.

In 2009, the symposiums are being organized by the University Federal of Ceará (UFC) and will  be held in the city of Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará, Northeast of Brazil, in October 05-09. The intensive program of both conferences aims at enhancing contributions and experiences of previous editions.
